Pediatric Urology
Children's
Surgical Services provides the highest quality care to infants, children,
and adolescents who are born with, or who develop, abnormalities of the
urinary or genital systems. Our goal is to provide state-of-the-art therapy
using the least invasive approach possible. These laparoscopic and endoscopic
techniques have several advantages over traditional "open" operations: they
can minimize your child's postoperative pain, shorten his/her hospital stay,
and allow your child to return to school and to full activity much sooner.
And the cosmetic and psychological benefits of this "minimally invasive
surgery" are also very important.
Our multi-disciplinary team (including pediatricians, neonatologists, and
pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists and nurses) is dedicated
to the care and comfort of your child before, during, and after the operation.
We understand the importance of working closely with the referring physician at every step, from initial visit through long-term follow-up. We provide diagnosis and treatment for a broad spectrum of kidney, ureter, bladder and genital conditions.
