Our 20-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is staffed by pediatric critical care intensivists, physicians, nurses, and support staff, all well versed and trained in the latest procedures of pediatric critical care medicine. Our PICU provides the most sophisticated medical and surgical care needed for critical open-heart surgery, major neurosurgery, and multiple injuries from trauma accidents.
Our intensive care physicians are in the hospital 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week to provide the very best care to our patients, not just on call like many other facilities. The specialized equipment in our PICU can take care of the individual critical care needs of the tiny infants to older, adult-size adolescents.
