Throughout the year, individuals and organizations conduct special events
to benefit Driscoll Children's Hospital. These events range in size, format,
and scope from school fundraisers to golf tournaments to seated dinners
and more.
All special events conducted on behalf of Driscoll Children's Hospital
must have prior approval of the Office of Development. In order to assist
in planning, scheduling and approving proposed special events, a Special
Events Application Form must be submitted. All applications
will be reviewed by the Office of Development staff and, as required,
by the Board of Directors of the Driscoll Children's Hospital Development
Foundation. Applicants must allow four weeks for the approval process.

Driscoll Children's Hospital is a proud member of the Children's Miracle
Network. We are one of 170 hospitals throughout the United States recognized
as part of the Children's Miracle Network.

Radiothon
Driscoll Children’s Hospital partners with local radio
station K99 for the annual Radiothon. This event is a three-day
live broadcast from the hospital. Be sure to tune in to K-99
(99.1 FM), stop by to meet the DJ's and drop off donations
to benefit the children of South Texas. |

Fiesta de los Niños:
Corpus Christi and Rio
Grande Valley
Two annual fundraising events held in Corpus
Christi and the Rio
Grande Valley which provide an entire evening of activities
sure to please! The festivities include: cocktails, delicious
dinner prepared by Amigos de los Niños, live, blackboard
and silent auctions featuring spectacular gifts donated by generous
corporate and individual sponsors. The evening concludes with
entertainment and dancing performed by a top artist.

Children's
Miracle Network
Annual Children's Miracle Network telethon event to help raise
needed funds for Driscoll Children's Hospital programs and services.
This celebration represents thousands of gifts donated throughout
the year by individuals, corporations, community organizations
and foundations. |

South
Texas Cattlemen's RoundUp
A series of cattle auctions throughout South Texas always prove
to be successful. These auctions are supported by local barn
owners, 4-H Clubs, County Extension Agents and our wonderful
community.
Many sponsorship opportunities are available and vary from
$500 - $5,000.

Golf Classic
Four member team annual golf tournament guarantees a full
day of fun! Team fees for the tournament include: 18 holes of
golf, golf cart, green fees, range balls, buffet luncheon and
awards party to end the day. Awards are presented to the teams
who finish in the top four positions, the individual with the
longest drive and the individual who gets closest-to-the-pin.

Annual
Singer Songwriter Showcase
Three singer / songwriters perform numerous hit songs for originally
written for George Strait, Clay Walker, and John Michael Montgomery,
among many others. The night is full of laughter, entertainment,
and tears as the songwriters provide vivid details explaining
the story behind the songs they have written. The 1st Annual
Singer Songwriter Showcase ended with a standing ovation.

Skeet
Shoot
Annual Skeet Shoot Tournament held at Corpus Christi Pistol
and Rifle Club. This is a round-robin event and prizes are awarded
to the top contenders. Participants in the tournament are invited
to a luncheon following the event. |

Six
Points Kiwanis Apple Sale
Every October the Six Points Kiwanis Club holds a fundraiser
and sells delicious Washington State apples at Driscoll Children's
Hospital. Nothing says Fall better than red or green crisp Washington
State apples! |
