12TH ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC RAISES A RECORD $160,000
The 12th Annual Driscoll Children’s Golf Classic was held on Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Corpus Christi Country Club. A record $160,000 was raised to benefit the children of South Texas. Congratulations to the 1st Place Winners of the 2007 Golf Classic: Reeflex, LTD., Willard Hammonds, Ham Rogers, Lamar Clemons, Rodney Popejoy. DELETE <This victorious foursome took home $800 in golf shop credits for their success on the course.> Prizes were awarded to the top four teams, to the longest drive and to those individuals closest to the pin on the par three holes.
This year Driscoll added to the festivities with a Singer Songwriter Showcase. This event took place October 12th and showcased talented songwriters who have written hit songs for George Strait, Alison Krause, and Kenny Chesney among many others. Click here to learn more!
