1st Annual Singer Songwriter Showcase Receives Standing Ovation!
The 2nd annual Singer Songwriter Showcase kicked off at the Corpus Christi Country Club on Thursday, October 4, 2007. This new event was an astounding sensation! The talented singer/songwriters Richie McDonald, Aaron Barker, and Allen Shamblin entertained the crowd by performing their hit songs written for Kenny Chesney, George Strait, and Alison Krause among many others, in addition to providing both heartfelt and hilarious commentary. The night concluded with a standing ovation, dessert, and an autograph session. It is official…Singer/Songwriter Showcase will be an annual event as part of the Golf Classic!
