Description of Service:
- Anesthesia, on an inpatient or outpatient basis, for infants, children, and adolescents undergoing surgery or diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
- Coordination of services for infants, children, and adolescents who require special treatment for acute or chronic pain.
- Intravenous access assistance and code support for hospital.
Evaluation and treatment services include:
- Regional anesthesia
- General anesthesia
- Specialty cardiovascular and neurosurgical anesthesiology teams
Consultative services include:
- Pain management, including therapeutic nerve blocks, workups, management of chronic pain problems and management of epidural catheters.
- Anesthesia-related problems
- Ventilation management
