The Ronald McDonald House Can Help

The parents of a newborn baby from the Rio Grande Valley go to Corpus Christi because their litlle girl has a congenital heart defect. It is at The Ronald McDonald House that they wait patiently while she recovers from heart surgery.

A child from Laredo hospitalized for a brain tumor can say "good night" to his mother and go to sleep knowing she'll be nearby.

A boy from Kingsville with leukemia can stay at the House and go to the hospital on for his treatments. He isn't afraid and anxious because he will get to stay at the Ronald McDonald House.

Late at night in an upstairs house corridor, two mothers wrapped in bathrobes can share information on blood counts and bone marrow, and give each other hope.

A hundred miles away, a father comes home from work and can make his nightly telephone call to the House, and know that although in a strange city, his wife and children are safe.
