Statement of Ethics & Compliance Commitment

Driscoll Children’s Hospital (DCH) has a values-based Ethics and Compliance Program which is a vital part of the way we conduct ourselves. It is DCH’s policy to deliver health care services in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and we expect that our employees, volunteers and affiliates adhere to these standards. We place the utmost importance upon our reputation for honesty, integrity and high ethical standards.

To promote commitment to these standards, DCH has an active Ethics and Compliance Program. The Program is designed to help persons working for and doing business at, or on behalf of, DCH understand their role in supporting and encouraging ethical and compliant conduct. The Program provides a mechanism for addressing and resolving compliance questions and concerns. To continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Program, DCH has a multidisciplinary Ethics and Compliance Committee, an Ethics and Compliance Officer, and an Ethics and Compliance Committee of the DCH Governing Board.

As part of the Ethics and Compliance Program, DCH also maintains an Integrity Help Line (1-888-874-0713). The Help Line is a toll-free number, staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by an outside organization and is a means for DCH to receive anonymous reports from anyone who has an ethics or compliance concern. All calls to this Help Line number are investigated and handled in a confidential manner.
