JENNIFER M. AMARAL, M.D.,
JOINS DRISCOLL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

(Corpus Christi, TX) Driscoll Children’s Hospital is pleased to announce Jennifer M. Amaral, M.D., has joined the medical staff as a pediatric endocrinologist. The announcement was made by Rick Merrill, CEO and President of Driscoll Children’s Hospital. Dr. Amaral will be concentrating on pediatric endocrinology where she will focus at diseases of the endocrine system including juvenile diabetes, thyroid abnormalities, disorders of growth, obesity, as well as endocrine disorders.

A graduate of the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Dr. Amaral complete her pediatric residencies at the University Pediatric Hospital of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and Driscoll Children’s Hospital. Most recently, she completed the Pediatric Endocrine and Metabolism Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Amaral is licensed by the American Boards of Pediatrics and board eligible with the Pediatric Endocrine and Metabolism in 2007. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Diabetes Association, and Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrinology Society.
