Six Point Kiwanis Club 21st Annual Apple Sale
benefiting Driscoll Children’s Hospital
Saturday, October 25, 2003 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Rehabilitation and Medical Center Parking Lot at 3533 South Alameda Street
$30 per case (approx. 40 lbs. and 80 – 100 apples per case)

(Corpus Christi, TX) Nothing says Fall or Halloween better than crisp
red and green apples! The Six Points Kiwanis Club is proud to host their
21st Annual Apple Sale, a benefit fundraiser for Driscoll Children’s
Hospital’s “Camp For All” Cancer Camp. The event will
take place Saturday, October 25, 2003 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the
Driscoll Children’s Hospital’s front parking lot. Over the
years, the Six Points Kiwanis Club has raised over $185,000 for the hospital
during this event.
More than 1,000 cases of Red and Golden Delicious crisp, fresh apples
will be harvested in Washington state. They will be immediately loaded
onto two refrigerated 18-wheelers, heading straight for Driscoll Children’s
Hospital and arriving bright and early for customer pick-up.
Pre-Sale Tickets & Day-Of Purchasing
Apples are $30 per carton (approx. 40 lbs. per carton and 80 – 100
apple count per carton). To ensure that you get your apples, pre-sale
tickets can be purchased from any Six Points Kiwanis member or by calling
854-4165. Ticket holders should pick-up their cartons on Saturday, October
25, 2003 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Walk-up sales that day are also welcome.
First come, first serve as apples are limited. Cash, checks and credit
cards will be acceptable.
The 21st Annual Apple Sale is sponsored by the Six Points Kiwanis Club.
The Six Point Kiwanis Club’s mission is to improve the quality of
life for children and families in the Coastal Bend area.

Since opening its doors in 1953, Driscoll Children’s Hospital
has been offering hope and healing to the children of South Texas for
half a century. The facility is a 189-bed pediatric tertiary care center
with pediatric board-certified specialists representing 19 medical and

for inpatient care, 5,000 for day surgery, and 50,000 for outpatient
