Patient Relations
It is the primary goal of the Patient Relations Department to proactively provide services that meet the needs of our community. At Driscoll Children's Hospital, we understand that there is more involved in a child's care than just their illness. We strive to ensure that our Patient Rights and Responsibilities are met in an environment of trust, compassion, and care. We feel that concerns relayed to us from our guests will assist us in our endeavor to enhance the care given to families entering our hospital, clinics, or any care area
Driscoll Children's Hospital encourages guests to voice complaints
and grievances about care and services. if they have any. These concerns/
Complaints are addressed in a timely manner and are handled in a way that
does not compromise a patient's right to receive respectful, supportive,
and quality care. We are committed to providing a responsive and empathetic
environment that promotes the worth and dignity of all individuals. Through
collaborative interaction with staff and families, we offer individualized
alternative solutions.
Our Patient Relations Representatives visit with our patients and their families
daily to ensure patient satisfaction and assist them with needs that may
arise during their visit to Driscoll. We also rely on The Jackson Organization
to survey our families. These patient satisfaction surveys are done over
the phone and provide us with further information and feedback in the area
of performance improvement.
