Fiesta de los Ninos McAllen Raises $150,000 Net
On April 24, 2009, Whataburger presented the 6th Annual Fiesta de los Ninos - benefiting the Driscoll Children's Medical Plaza in McAllen. The event was held at Sister and Carlos Guerra's La Muneca Ranch in Linn, Texas. Roger Creager kept guests entertained while the live bidboard and silent auctions delighted all who attended. One hundred percent of the $150,000 raised at this event will benefit the Driscoll Children's Medical Plaza in McAllen treating patients in the areas of Endocrinology/Diabetes; Gastroenterology; Hematology/Oncology; Nephrology; Neurology; Neurosurgery; Orthopaedics; Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; Psychology/Behavioral; Pulmonology; Surgery; and Urololgy. A big THANK YOU to everyone who pitched in to make Fiesta de los Ninos McAllen 2009 such a success!
