GOLF CLASSIC & SINGER SONGWRITER SHOWCASE NET A RECORD $170,000 FOR THE KIDS!!!!
The 13th annual Golf Classic and Singer Songwriter Showcase was held October 2-3, 2008 at the Corpus Christi Country Club. On Thursday, nationally known singer/songwriters Paul Overstreet, Scotty Emerick and Lee Roy Parnell entertained the crowd by performing their hit songs while providing heartfelt commentary. Lunch and a shotgun start kicked off the tournament the following day, followed by 18 holes of golf in perfect weather. The day ended with awards for the winning teams, in addition to appreciation gifts for our sponsors. A RECORD $170,000 net was raised to help with the most critical needs of the hospital.
