Driscoll celebrates 10th anniversary of first kidney transplant

WHAT: Driscoll Children’s Hospital is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the first kidney transplant performed at the hospital by inviting former transplant recipients and their families to a fun-filled night at the Texas State Aquarium. Before Driscoll Children’s Hospital was approved to have its Renal Transplant Program, a child needing a transplant was sent to San Antonio, Houston or Galveston.

WHEN: 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11

WHERE: Texas State Aquarium, 2710 N. Shoreline Blvd.
