The team of physicians and their staff at the recently opened Driscoll Health System’s Maternal Fetal Medicine office in Brownsville are excited about the role they will play in the healthcare of the region’s expectant mothers.
“We are excited to expand our service to Brownsville. The office there is equipped with the latest ultrasound equipment, and we are able to provide improved full-time services to women throughout the Rio Grande Valley,” said Ryan Loftin, MD, FACOG, Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Driscoll Health System.
The practice’s Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists include John Visintine, MD, Anna Gonzalez, MD, Maurice Eggleston Jr., MD, and Chao Li, MD. A sixth MFM specialist will be joining the team later this year.
“As the largest Maternal Fetal Medicine practice in South Texas, we have been present in the Valley for almost 10 years, and we look forward to continuing to serve in the consultation and co-management of Valley patients for many years to come,” Dr. Loftin said.
“Driscoll Health System’s commitment to serve the population of South Texas with a full range of prenatal and pediatric specialty services remains steadfast. As always, it is an honor to care for our patients, and to assist their obstetric providers in improving the standard of care for the pregnant women of the region,” he said.
“We look forward to continuing to provide the highest quality care for the pregnant women of South Texas in this state-of-the-art facility,” Dr. Loftin said.
The office is located on the second floor of Driscoll Children’s Specialty Center-Brownsville, 5500 N. Expressway 77.
