Learning Center

Driscoll Children's Hospital offers the Children's Learning Center - an on-site, high-quality childcare center for the children of our employees.

Driscoll Children's Learning Center strives to partner with families in the joys and challenges of parenting by providing a high-quality, nurturing program that supports the growth and development of children socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually while fostering their love of learning.

Hours of Operation

The hours of operation for the center are Monday through Friday, 5:45am to 7:30pm. We offer the flexible scheduling that rotating schedules need! We offer programs for infants through preschool age children.

Driscoll Children's Learning Center has achieved national accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)

The NAEYC accreditation is the gold standard for child care centers. In fact, only 7% of childcare centers achieve this honor nationwide. Additionally, our center is only the second center in Corpus Christi to obtain this accreditation.

Child Care Licensing

If you are looking for a quality child development program in Texas, you can search the database of programs and see inspection reports of licensed childcare centers and day homes at the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services website.

Some kind words from families using the program:

"I love that when I walk in I feel the warmth from all the staff. The center just doesn't take care of my child they also take the time to teach them new things. I appreciate the Learning Center for everything they do because they do it with LOVE, COMPASION and PATIENCE."
Vanessa Cantu

"Every morning when we are taking our sons, whom we love more than anything in the world, to school, we feel comfortable and happy to be leaving them in YOUR hands. YOUR dedication to our children's well being is INVALUABLE. We know that these early years are critical in our children's development, and we thank each and every one of you for your hard work and your genuine interest in meeting the needs of our children. We thank you for giving them so many opportunities to be creative and to express themselves and for the wonderful hands-on learning opportunities they experience daily. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for ALL you do---WE APPRECIATE YOU EVERYDAY!"

Corina Roque

"Our children have both really enjoyed coming to the Learning Center and we have been extremely impressed with how nurturing and educational you have made things. All of your staff has been great and has made the transition much easier for all of us. The only problem that we have encountered is that they like it so much that they want to go more!
