Driscoll Children’s Hospital prepares for Hurricane Harvey

Driscoll Children’s Hospital is ensuring the safety of its patients and staff as Hurricane Harvey approaches the Texas Gulf Coast.

The hospital has been following its Emergency Preparedness Guidelines and the Driscoll Children’s Hospital Disaster Leadership Team continues to meet and monitor the situation.

Plans were made earlier in the week to ensure the hospital had adequate food, water and other necessary supplies to take care of patients and staff throughout the storm.

Driscoll Children’s Hospital and its Emergency Department, South Texas first emergency room created specifically for pediatrics, will remain open during the storm.
