Stripes Child Life Carnival is a fun interlude for Driscoll patients

WHAT:          The Stripes Child Life Program at Driscoll Children’s Hospital will be holding its annual Child Life Carnival for Driscoll patients. The Carnival, which is designed to make hospitalization a little more pleasant for children by providing a distraction from their illness and an opportunity for socialization, self-expression and normalization, will feature a camp theme with leather making with the Camp Aranzazu staff, Stripes carnival games, crafts and snacks. Child Life Carnival is held in March to celebrate Child Life Month, a month dedicated to the work Child Life Specialists do in helping patients cope with the hospital setting.
