Driscoll Children's Gala - Rio Grande Valley Raises $110,000 NET for Rio Grande Valley Children

On Friday, April 20, 2012, Whataburger presented the first ever Driscoll Children's Gala - Rio Grande Valley. The event replaces the Fiesta de los Niños - Rio Grande Valley as Driscoll's signature fundraising event in the region. One hundred percent of the funds raised will be used for providing health care to children in the Rio Grande Valley subspecialty clinics.

Guests had a wonderful time enjoying barbecue and dancing the Valley's own Scott Randolph and the White Lightning Band. A tremendous thank you to everyone who contributed their time and talent to make this event a smashing success!

These clinics provide local treatment, follow-up visits, and initial referral consultations with pediatric medical specialists for children with life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Driscoll physicians and staff travel from Corpus Christi to the Valley daily to treat Driscoll patients who live in the Rio Grande Valley.

Get on your dancing shoes and come with an appetite a big heart to show your support! One hundred percent of proceeds will benefit the Rio Grande Valley DCH Clinics.
