Why Give to Driscoll

Knowing your gift could change the life of a child is the most rewarding reason to give to Driscoll. In addition, donors have the opportunity to meet top pediatric experts, stay current on hospital news and fundraising events, as well as join a community of other generous supporters.

How Your Gifts are Used

Your gifts are used for a variety of needs in the hospital. The majority of public or private foundation funds go towards the purchase of tangible goods and services. Your gifts will ensure that Driscoll Children's Hospital will have the flexibility to meet the needs of all of our patients.

Miracle Stories

In its more than 50 years, Driscoll has had the opportunity to treat many children, some of which we consider to be "Miracle Kids". Read the stories of amazing children and their families who made it through some extremely difficult times.

Benefits of Giving

Above all, the satisfaction of knowing you have helped a child in need far outweighs any other benefit. In addition to fulfillment, giving to Driscoll will provide you with an opportunity to be part of The Clara Driscoll Society, a Star Supporter, or our Wall of Honor.

To Help Realize Our Founders' Mission

Since 1953, Driscoll Children's Hospital has offered hope and healing to the children of South Texas. Driscoll originally opened thanks to the love and support of late Clara Driscoll and the vision of the late Dr. McIver Furman. Subsequent endowments received from the Robert Driscoll and Julia Driscoll and Robert Driscoll, Jr. Foundation combined with the generous support of a caring community enables us to continue our important work. Your gift to Driscoll Children's Hospital is an investment in the future that brings us one step closer to our goal - the best of health for every child.

Wall of Honor

The Wall of Honor represents all donors who have given cumulative gifts totaling $25,000 or more. These charitable philanthropists' names are prominently displayed in the front entrance of the hospital to express our sincere thanks for their generous support.

The Clara Driscoll Society

The Clara Driscoll Society recognizes people who have named Driscoll Children's Hospital in their Will, or those who have established a planned gift to benefit Children's Hospital. The Society is named for the Hospital's founder whose bequest made Driscoll Children's Hospital a reality.
