Descripción del Servicio:

Departamento de Urgencias totalmente equipado y cuenta con personal pediátrico especializado y dedicado las 24 horas del día para proporcionar servicios integrales a una amplia gama de condiciones de simples problemas pediátricos agudos a situaciones de emergencia críticas complejas, incluyendo:
  • Asma aguda
  • Quemaduras
  • Abandono y maltrato infantil
  • Deshidratación
  • Ingestión
  • A punto de ahogarse
  • Convulsiones
  • Toda lesión menor y mayor

Estrecha colaboración con los servicios de transporte, PICU y otras subespecialidades pediátricas.

Coordinador de Trauma:

Coordina todos los aspectos de la Atención de Trauma para que los niños afectados reciban la mejor atención posible. Facilita la participación en programas de recopilación de datos, incluyendo:
  • NEISS - Sistema Nacional De Vigilancia Lesión Electrónica, un programa de la Comisión de seguridad de los productos de consumo nacional.
  • Registro de Trauma del Estado
