Se requiere una referencia de médico a médico para admitir pacientes menores al Hospital Pediátrico Driscoll. Para más información acerca de referencias, por favor llame a la clínica de especialidad pertinente o llame al servicio de admisión.

Las responsabilidades del Departamento de Admisión incluyen:


  • Registro de Pre-admisión
  • Reserva avanzada de admisión
  • Entrevista financiera
  • Admisión de paciente
  • Coordinación de la asignación de cama con el Supervisor de Enfermería interno
  • Coordinación para escoltar al paciente
  • Procesamiento de formularios del seguro médico
  • Referencia de familias de pago privado a programas estatales, tales como Medicaid, Menores Enfermos Crónicos o Discapacitados, o SSI
  • pre-certificación de seguro médico
  • verificación de seguro médico, codificación y facturación
  • establecer planes de pago
  • Comunicación con el médico familiar referente
