Se requiere una referencia de médico a médico para admitir pacientes menores al Hospital Pediátrico Driscoll. Para más información acerca de referencias, por favor llame a la clínica de especialidad pertinente o llame al servicio de admisión.Para mayor información, por favor llame al (361) 694-5110
Las responsabilidades del Departamento de Admisión incluyen:
- Registro de Pre-admisión
- Reserva avanzada de admisión
- Entrevista financiera
- Admisión de paciente
- Coordinación de la asignación de cama con el Supervisor de Enfermería interno
- Coordinación para escoltar al paciente
- Procesamiento de formularios del seguro médico
- Referencia de familias de pago privado a programas estatales, tales como Medicaid, Menores Enfermos Crónicos o Discapacitados, o SSI
- pre-certificación de seguro médico
- verificación de seguro médico, codificación y facturación
- establecer planes de pago
- Comunicación con el médico familiar referente
