- 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Due to COVID-19, Driscoll’s Miracle Day, scheduled for June 5, 2020 at Whataburger Field, has been postponed.
Formerly known as the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon, Driscoll’s Miracle Day is about celebrating the life-saving mission of Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
For 35 years, Driscoll has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) and KIII-TV Channel 3 to highlight the miracles that happen at Driscoll, and recognize donations from individuals, community organizations, corporations and foundations that support our mission. These entities raise money for the hospital by hosting workplace giving campaigns, sponsoring a variety of events, and organizing marketing promotions throughout the year. All of the Driscoll’s Miracle Day donations directly benefit the patients of Driscoll Children’s Hospital and Driscoll Children’s Hospital’s specialty clinics.
Although our in-person celebration is postponed, we hope you will celebrate with us throughout the month of May by tuning into KIII-TV Channel 3 to meet some of Driscoll’s miracle patients.
Thank you to all of our sponsors and community supporters who help us fulfill the vision and mission of our founder, Clara Driscoll.
More about Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
To provide the best care for kids, Driscoll Children’s Hospital relies on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $7 billion. CMNH started as a telethon partnership with local tv stations and children’s hospitals, and has since expanded its various fundraising partners and programs to support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. Donations stay in South Texas to fund critical treatments and health care services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care.
