Driscoll physicians named to leadership positions in TMA

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Three Driscoll Health System physicians have been named to leadership positions in the Texas Medical Association (TMA).

Driscoll Children’s Pediatric Emergency Department physician Marita Rafael, MD, has been reappointed to the Committee on Emergency Medical Services and Trauma.

Karl Serrao, MD, FAAP, FCCM, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Driscoll Health Plan, has been appointed to the Committee on Medical Home and Primary Care.

Lee Budin, MD, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Driscoll Children’s Hospital, has been appointed to the Council on Health Care Quality.
