Childhood Cancer Survivors Give Back
Families and patients dealing with a diagnosis of pediatric cancer can rely on Driscoll Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center for the most advanced treatments available for infants, children and adolescents. The Cancer and Blood Disorders Center offers patient and parent support through monthly support group meetings, individualized care with a social worker as well as pre-teen and teen camps.
Arnold, Josh and Alexis attended Driscoll’s Camp TLC (Teens Living with Cancer) in 2015. Alexis and Josh are both childhood cancer survivors and former Driscoll Children’s Hospital patients. Arnold is Alexis’ twin so he was able to attend camp with her.
Today, all three are giving back and helping other children with a diagnosis of pediatric cancer. Alexis and Arnold both work for Camp Aranzazu and Josh attended as a Driscoll Camp Counselor for Camp TLC and Little Golden Warriors this year.
