Clowns Who Care
The Clowns Who Care dedicate their time to helping others and bringing smiles and laughter to Driscoll Children’s Hospital patients and families.
They are known and recognized both nationally and locally for their tireless and compassionate efforts for the children of Driscoll Children’s Hospital. These wonderful women began clowning at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in 1997, bringing smiles to faces of the patients, parents and staff. Clowns visit patients room to room, distributing toys to the patients, courtesy of sponsored businesses.
Driscoll Children’s Hospital has been fortunate to have this amazing group of ladies as part of the Auxiliary for more than 20 years and counting. There is no clowning around when it comes to these women with the big shoes!
The Mary Ann Sinclair Gallery
The Mary Anne Sinclair Gallery is named after the founder and leader of the Clowns Who Care. The gallery features artwork created by Driscoll Children’s Hospital patients. An endowment was started to fund Driscoll’s art program in honor of Mary Anne Sinclair. The income from the endowment provides annual funds to maintain the Mary Anne Sinclair Art Gallery and supplies for Driscoll’s art cart.
