Welcome to Driscoll Health Pharmacy

We are a specialty pharmacy providing medicines to treat rare, complex or long-term health problems. Because living with a chronic disease or serious illness can be hard and confusing at times, our goal is to provide the knowledge, support and peace of mind to get the best results from your specialty medicine.

What’s Different About Specialty Medicines?

Specialty medicines are usually expensive and hard to get from your local pharmacy. When you are taking a specialty medicine, you may need extra training and education—or even help with your insurance and financial assistance. We go above and beyond the typical pharmacy to make sure your specialty medicines work for you.

Our friendly and knowledgeable team will work closely with you and your doctor to provide the highest quality care. We know you have many options to choose from, and we thank you for choosing Driscoll Health Pharmacy!

Getting Started

When your doctor sends a prescription to Driscoll Health Pharmacy, you are automatically enrolled into our specialty pharmacy program. These services are offered at no cost and your participation is completely voluntary. You can stop at any time by letting a pharmacy staff member know.

Navigating Insurance

Our team will work with your doctor and insurance company to help get your medication covered. This process is called “prior authorization.” Prior authorizations may take a few days to complete, but we will let you know what is going on along the way.

Financial Assistance

Specialty drugs can be expensive, even after insurance pays most of the cost. If you cannot afford your medicine, we can help find available financial assistance programs to lower your out-of-pocket expense. You may be asked to fill out forms in order to get these benefits.

  • Manufacturer co-pay cards
  • Patient assistance programs
  • Grants and foundations

Refill Reminders

We will automatically call you each month to set up your medication refills. If you need to order your own refills, you can:

Prescription Delivery

We will call you every month to find out how you would like to get your specialty medicine. We offer free shipping to your home, work or doctor’s office. You may also pick up your medicine during our business hours.

Patient Management Program

Our expert pharmacists are here to teach you about your specialty medicine and answer any questions you may have. Our pharmacists:
  • Work with you and your doctor to make sure your medicine is safe and effective
  • Train you how to use your medicine the right way
  • Help you manage or avoid possible side effects
  • Help you prevent missed doses
  • Provide education and resources to help you get the most out of your specialty therapy

Our pharmacists can counsel you during your pharmacy visit or over the telephone. We offer 24/7 pharmacist support for urgent questions or needs.

Prescription Compounding

A compounded medication is a drug that is mixed and prepared for a specific patient, based on their doctor’s orders. Our licensed pharmacists will carefully provide compounding and flavoring services for patients who require them.
